Memorial Hall (Memorial Opera House Turns 125

Here is a story about our infamous building. We are so honored to be associated with the hall, and to have been asked to be a part of the article.

Every month that we have a meeting in the upstairs, it is as though the Men before us, are still there guiding us, supporting us, and only asking that we keep their memory alive. Honor them by speaking of them now and then.

For me it i feel as I am connected when I walk in the doors. Its as though I have always been there. It's more than a place for theater, shows, meetings, etc, for me its like another home.

The stewards of the building are amazing. All of them do it for the love the history associated with it, although it provides a source of income for several, they do not do it for the money. They do it because its like a home for them as well.

I could go on and on about the Opera House, the Men that met there, the Women that raised money for it, the Men that helped to change the law so they could build this instead of a statue.
