Solomon Allen Solomon C Allen Born in Ohio on May 05, 1843 to the parents of Benjamin Allen and Clarissa Herssey both of New York. Solomon joined the 5th Indiana Calvary (90th Regiment) Co I on August 1, 1862 for a 3 year enlistment. He was discharged on June 26, 1865 in Indianapolis.
